So since you have 1 lap azzer you therefore only have 1 chick? That makes sense. Unless you meant leg, then you would have 2 chicks!

Hope it is nothing serious cosy. Repairs and new appliances are freaking expensive. >.>

its not the expense that I am worried about (its 25 years old soooo)....its them trying to get it into my kitchen (if it needs replacing)...I would have to move everything basically out of both my kitchen and dinning area (that include one honking oak table)....not a thought I wish to dwell on much
so yeah I am hoping its just a loose something -er-other that can be either ignored or tied up with something cheap (me likes cheap solutions --like my bathroom stopper solution--I got rid of it and just put a trap in--and bought a old time bathtub rubber stopper )

Ah yikes. I understand trying to get appliances/furniture into places. Got to do that a few weeks ago. It sucks, that is for sure! My moms old stove was over 25 years old before it finally died and she got a new one. They don't make them like they used too.

All's good. Just sliding through life buying stuff through mega walmart eating chicken dinners.

Does anyone think that there are more drivers on the road without drivers license or have the exams on learning how to drive lowered their standards? Because, man their are horrible drivers out there.

Oh geez, four legs? I bet you kill at the 3 legged run! No partner needed!

Pretty sure people just slide by their driver's exams and get their licenses even though they suck. You don't have to be good at driving all the time, you just have to be good enough at it for 15 minutes to get your licenses! Sad but true...

its a multiple choice test! even a grade school kid could pick enough right answers to pass--- (and it was a full moon--more bad drivers come out for that). The driving part...now that depends on the person you have as the examiner.

NOW I think that once your reach say, 60, you should have to take the driving part every year (would keep quite a few incapable drivers off the roads).

I take offense at that. I don't think there is an age limit one way or another for bad drivers. Thay come in all shapes, colors, age, etc. I dare say I think all soccer mom's driving their megabig SUV's and thinking they
own the road should be tested every 6 months.

Well there should be an age limit. Near where I live at a specific time of day when i come home one or two times a week I get an old lady running through a red light as I turn to the left side where almost got hit by her only one time. If you are old all you pay attention on the road is just whats in front of you then you shouldn't be driving.

I was talking about the actual driving portion, not the written portion. That part is a joke and ya, most people can take it.

My grandparents are in their 70's and both drive just fine. It is just certain people who are in their 90's or 80's who probably shouldn't have their licenses still...

ok....75 then. (sorry I was in florida earlier this year ....and between the young people who are mad at the old people and the old people----geesh!).
Basically if you arent able to move quickly you should not be driving (like half the people with walkers where my mom lives )---if your reflexes are slow you wont be able to react quickly enough if something happens....and driving that caddy wont save you every time!

Why are we being so mean to the elderly? Aren't we taught to respect our elders? At least I was... But I guess there is a point where they shouldn't be driving anymore though everyone's is different. Hard to put an age on it.

yeah, that is why they should be tested more often when they reach a certain age--to make sure they are still capable of driving (if you have ever driven in florida you would understand).
not mean, just want to keep the roads safe for all. Respect is fine, but when you are no longer capable of doing something you should not still be doing it (would you really want a 75 year old say Alzheimer patient as an air traffic controller?????)

competency tests are there for reasons..and driving should have one as well.

Keeping the roads safe is always good. And ya, maybe it would be in the best interest to have people above a certain age be tested every year or something.

In Denmark, when you get your drivers license, you have it until you're 70, after that, you need to take an eye test each year... that's it hehe.

2 of my mates, drives like a broken arm, and 1 of em has children in his car, he had loads of small crashes, nothing serious, yet..
